- [Yup, uh huh, basically by default this time]

- Spyder Harrison actually quipped about his frequent recent countdown absences at the outset of this past weekend’s show

- Delightful surprise this week as Zedd Ft. Foxes – Clarity acquired the #3 slot.  I severely doubt we’ll be seeing it at #1, but I’ve been wrong before on matters such as these.  I’m pulling for it.

- Jason Derulo – The Other Side makes its first Top 10 appearance.  Nice things are nice.

- I am completely shocked at the trajectory of Daft Punk – Get Lucky on this countdown.  The world is raving about it (and Robin Thicke ft. Pharrell and T.I. - Blurred Lines, for that matter) but that has yet to materialize here.

- Speaking of Blurred Lines, I had an initial somewhat negative reaction to it but I’ve enjoyed it a little more lately.  It’s still only worthwhile for the beat though.

- Expect lots of debuts this upcoming weekend.
